Fact is you can do that Chapter 2 skip without the use of Escalators, you just would have to waste a bit more mana to do it so you would only end up losing a few seconds in the end.
Works fine with Daud as well, here's an example video with controller input shown:
It's possible but it's also a lot harder to pull off imo. Have only done it in the main game though so will test if it's possible with Daud as well, should be possible at least.
We haven't added it due to no one doing runs of it, simple as that. Will add it when I can actually be at the computer since doing anything from my phone is terrible.
The numbers are from me putting them there from solving the riddle that first time but it turned out it didn't matter in which order you put them lol
The main difference is in how the blink and far reach work. Blink is a more straightforward ability to use meanwhile far reach for Emily needs to be connected to a surface to cast but will give you more momentum which you can carry on by bunnyhops. Far reach also has a thing called F canceling which allows you to climb vertically up buildings/walls/etc.
Yeah that's way too low, it's hard to pin-point an exact value you want but especially as a beginner you'd probably want at least 160+ fps, most comfortable range being 200-250 fps. You can always lower the in-game graphical settings if you haven't done that yet, make sure that you don't run anything else demanding on the computer at the same time and you can increase the priority of the Dishonored.exe process in the Task Manager but with that low starting fps I think it might be hard to tweak it enough to run at 160+ fps.
What fps does your game run at? There are actually no barriers to stop you from going up in any of those places so either you mistime the elevator and gets a shorter one or you're low on fps and it won't reach all the way up. Generally when you do elevators you don't press any keys once you're "in the elevator" going up. Doing so usually will make you fall off. In some cases though it can be worth holding W at the end of an elevator (for example the second one in intro) that will help you get up on top. Also worth mentioning about the intro one is that there's some weird stuff at the top of the elevator so what most do is that they hold W and jump a second time once you get up as it is easy to not get all the way up safe and then just fall down when you try to move.
The trick behind the double blink is to do the first blink really early, basically you want to blink just about as the second part of the double jump goes off. That should give it enough time for the blink to go off cooldown for you to use a second time:)
IMO 100% is a bad name in this case since if it only describes collecting scrolls then I'd say All Scrolls or something would fit better and that would imply NG runs as NG+ would be pointless in that case. If it would also require the badges for ghost/no kills/all kills that would be very arbitrary since you'd had to do two runs to finish that.
How come you have v1.01b btw? The release version was 1.02b I think and the current version is 1.04.
Repack and upload will take a little while so I'll be back with it tomorrow
Hey, I am not sure exactly what causes it but it's some issue tied to changing game files, had the same thing when I switched language files frequently. Best way to fix it is to just to verify game files (basically allowing the game to go back to 1.4) and then reapply the 1.2 files and it should be good to go.
The thing here is (and this is an easy mistake) that you've edited the wrong file:) You're in the actual game folder and there the files are called Default¤.ini instead of Dishonored¤.ini. You need to go into C:\Users%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Dishonored\DishonoredGame\Config and change the file DishonoredInput.ini there
