As of March 8th, 2021 this is the current fastest route for 242 Stars. Reroutes World 3 Bottom Path and Battle Belt in 120 Stars to save ~5 seconds. Battle Belt reroute requires grabbing the Comet Medal in Battle Belt S to save time. For 120 splits, just remove everything after the "Galaxy Generator II" split.
