youtube link broken?

I cant figure out how to properly link my youtube. It seems like the site is making the wrong type of link [youtube.com/user/lameshark64]. All the other socials I tried worked. I added another social today because my game requests were being denied. It's not a big deal, but I would like to link my youtube to this site. Thanks.

instead of "user/" you need to put "@". or in case you had enough subscribers for a custom url you can do "c/[yoururl]"

@soin speedrun.com automatically puts ".com/username" when you add your YT username. Your link is older so it says "c/username" Look at our links on this page ... they are different :(

https://youtube.com/@lameshark64 Put an @ before your username like @SioN said. I don't know what you're talking about saying that it automatically puts a .com/username because I just tested it and it doesn't. Copy the link I just put and paste it into your socials and see if it works.

You dont have a YT social link. Look on this page under our username. The little youtube logo.

I'm very aware I don't have a YT, I don't have any socials because I prefer to keep my life private. If you could just add an @ before your YT username, it'd probably work.

@[username] doesn't work. It switches back to /user/[username] which directs to a 404 page now. Using the old channel url still works, but a lot of new users might not have that or don't know where to find it.

seems like you can get the old channel url from copying the link from the "my channel button" you get after clicking your icon in the top right

it still links it as "user/" with the old url I just tried it.

There are four different types of YouTube channel URLs

That all of these work, impart from the handle URL ( youtube.com/@YummyBacon )

This is because when this URL is saved, the "@" character disappears. Making SRC think that you've inputted a legacy URL, due to legacy URLs being the default for any value saved into YT.

I've tried all the options and none of them work any fixes?

@Johnnie_isle you don't have a custom URL yet, so use your ID URL.

Which is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS67zn505KVtY7Wg7PInGog
