Hey all, Flamming Fire has found a new glitch which is going to change the categories a bit - you can now skip from Barb Boss straight to Pirate Ship and from Desert Chase to Flooded Temple. This skip only works on NG due to it being linked with the character unlock screen (unless you start with the Barbarian or a DLC character). No one has got the skip to work in co-op yet either, which further limits this to solo NG.

Due to the skip to Pirate Ship, half of the levels will be skipped. To combat this another category is going to be made, NG NMG. All of the current runs in NG any% will be moved to this category. Since this glitch only works with a small handful of characters for NG+, there will not be a NG+ NMG category.

The only glitch so far that is considered a "major" glitch is the level skip, which will be the only glitch banned from any%.

If anyone has any different suggestions that they feel is better, please reply to this forum. Changes will be made once everyone can come to an agreement.

I found out how to not unlock gray knight and beat barb boss (you have to be dead when the barb boss dies), so now NG+ with other characters can be done, but not every character can be unlocked without unlocking alien first. The only characters that you can unlock without alien are the starting knights, Pink knight, Blacksmith, Barbarian, Thief, Conehead, Open-Faced Gray knight, King and Necromancer. King is the best out of all of them because of his starting weapon and you would unlock him from unlocking barbarian and using that to skip to insane mode, then make your way up to pipistrello's cave and unlock King, and of course you would have to be dead when you kill the barb boss on insane.
