First you select the event you want, Then hit “Go to Event”. Now a loading screen will appear... wait. Right after it ends either mash or time a “start” press as it leads into the event intro. Finally hit “Startover” and you now gain a lot of time. Look at top 2 times in Olympic or Dream Events for reference. One of very few oddities in this game that save a solid amount of time. Works in all categories, but only in training events in Festival Mode.
