CURRENT STRAT as of 7/28/17
This is basically a quick walkthrough out of what equipment combinations you need to pull out certain Key Items and in what slot. This requires knowledge of activating the Inventory Glitch. It also requires that you name either Rolf or Rudo to be named ABWX (although it is quicker to name Rolf ABWX as time doesn't start while in the name screen at the beginning. This guide will continue assuming you named Rolf ABWX, otherwise during Steps 15-18, use Rudo's inventory instead).
You need the following items to finish the game: Teim Key Tube Jet Scooter Red Card Yellow Card Blue Card Green Card Visiphone Nei Shield Nei Emel Nei Crown Nei Helmet Nei Shot Nei Slasher Nei Cape Nei Armor
You will also need (easier to just buy): 2 Telepipes 4 Escapipes
The following are optional but helpful (you will get a Moon Dew by default) Hidapipe Moon Dew
First trip to the Storage Room:
- In Rolf's Glitched inventory, go to the 2nd Page and press Up twice (cursor should be above NEXT). Store this item (Key Tube). Come back for it later.
Exit Storage Room: 2. Rolf's Slot 54 for Yellow Card. Give to Nei. 3. Rolf's Slot 56 for Moon Dew. Give to Nei. 4. Discard Nei's Carbon Vest 5. Rofl's Slot 56 for Teim. Duplicate to be able to activate Teim Glitch later. Give both to Nei. 6. Unequip Nei's Ribbon and Sandals. 7. Rolf's Slot 56 for Nei Shot. Give to Nei. 8. Equip Nei's Ribbon and Sandals again. 9. Rolf's Slot 56 for Blue Card. Give to Nei. 10. Toss Nei's Ribbon. 11. Rolf's Slot 56 for Visiphone. Give to Nei. 12. Buy 1 Steel Bar, Sell Rolf's Slot 17, buy 1 Telepipe. Give to Nei. Toss her Ribbon and Sandals if you'd like.
Visit Arima, North Bridge, Oputa (Losing both Teim's during this process with the Teim Glitch). Return to Paseo for Rudo and Amy.
Second visit to Storage Room: 11. In Rudo's Glitch Inventory, store Slot 48 for the Red Card. Grab both Key Tube and Red Card and give to Nei.
Teleport to Oputa: 12. Buy Fiber Gear for Amy, 1 Ceramic Bar for Nei, and 2 Ceramic Knives for Amy. 13. Equip Nei with Steel and Ceramic Bar. 14. (optional) If you want a Hidapipe, go to Rudo's Slot 50 for one and give it to Amy. 15. Rolf's Slot 21 for Nei Helmet. Give to Nei. 16. Rolf's Slot 22 for Nei Crown. Give to Amy. 17. Rolf's Slot 23 for Nei Armor. Give to Nei. 18. Rolf's Slot 24 for Nei Cape. Give to Amy. 19. Equip Amy with Fiber Gear, 2 Ceramic Knives, Nei Cape. 20. Rudo's Slot 56 for Nei Slasher. Give to Amy. 21. Equip Amy with Carbon Suit and Nei Crown. 22. Rudo's Slot 56 for Nei Shield. Give to Amy. 23. Equip Amy with Fiber Gear, Toss Shoes. 24. Rudo's Slot 46 for Green Card. Nei. 25. Rudo's Slot 56 for Nei Emel. Give to Amy. 26. At this time, buy 2 Telepipe and 4 Escapipes. Escapipes will be used after Roron, Red, Green, and Yellow Dams. Telepipe will be used after Red Dam and in Skure. 27. At this time, start buying Antidotes for Rudo and Rolf. When doing so, you will soon start to see the character's name being replaced by a black box, one letter at a time. After the 4th black box appears, buy around 29-32 more Antidotes. This should be enough to set the stats of both Nei and Amy to be really high. 28. Go through the remainder of the route: Roron, Red Dam, Green Dam, Yellow Dam, Blue Dam, Gaira, Skure, Crevice, Esper Mansion, Noah.
NOTES: After returning to Paseo from Gaira and before going to Dezo, put Nei and Amy in front of the party. You also don't need Rudo in your party at that point. If Rolf is in front by the time you get the Nei Sword, you will lose the item and softlock the game. Also, Rolf needs to be alive to get into Esper Mansion, so if he dies along the way, just use the Moon Dew before going in.
