Yes, I nearly died on Volcanic reef, and the Shipgrave sea, and I actually died on The Tube. To be fair though, This version of Ecco is much harder to speedrun than the Genesis version, and all I did before were runs on the genesis one, so you can't really blame me for making mistakes. Then again The Tube is really easy, you just stay in the middle of the screen until the level ends. But at first I realized that this version of the level was slightly different, but I was sticking to my pattern I do with the Genesis version, and then I died. Either way, I still am very proud of this run, and the fact I was able to do it at all is pretty awesome.
