A huge 30 second improvement to Pirates Cove and a sub 1 minute run, by pulling off Ultimate PCS skip without any use of the pause menu to help with the triple EDJ. While my EDJ consistency was a bit worse without using frame-stepping on the pause menu, I was a lot better at getting the setup for the barrel shot, by getting near optimal height on each EDJ and carefully controlling x position. This meant that it did not take an unreasonable number of tries.

There are several possible improvements, the first arrow in the level can be jumped over, the first pegleg can be killed with magic, you can jump instantly off the elevator between the warps, and you can do an arrow jump after UPCS, which can get the time down to about 47 seconds. Sub 50 is probably realistic for someone to get, but it would be tedious.

The TAS can do some more ridiculous stuff, for example you can fire a pistol shot as you fall down to the ground where the catnip pegleg is, this baits the pegleg to roll towards you (bringing the catnip). You kill it with magic and a lucky catnip bounce brings the catnip even closer. You then turn left and go back up the spring, saving 3 - 4 seconds. To get to the warp, either drop dynamite on the floor (in full game runs where you have more dynamite), or you can throw the first pegleg up onto the wood as you go past and DJ using this. Then in full game runs the TAS can do the skip with only 2 help pages by using an extra dynamite and using the wall climb technique. Potions must be picked up on the way to keep health above 0. The perfect time could be around 42 seconds in full game runs.
