So essentially these TASs are like the “sum of best segments” speedrunners use for total game times. The Wii U controller is very touchy. I tried doing my own and just wasn’t accustomed to the difference; I wonder if an emulator would outperform in a save-state TAS run. I suspect it may in some races.
are you using the no z after pressing jump going into the alcove? that should make the alcove entrance smoother. Thanks again for doing all this hard work

I have a question about Crystal Lake. Did you try the lomas jump in the valley instead of the carve? And did you test jumping the bump near the rocks after the shortcut?

When you video the runs can you turn the lights off in the room? It stops the reflection on the screen and its a lot easier to see the run. The golden forest video is really clear. Thanks again man.

Have you tried:
- experimenting with jump cancels on the powdery plateau? or
- trying a frame boost per arctic fox (personally I don’t believe it works)?
