ItalyWhen streaming/recording a run you must be able to capture the window to show what emulator is being used.
RetroArch will has specific requirements below. You are able to run without showing the window.
Accepted Emulators: • XEBRA • mednafen • RetroArch (Beetle/Beetle HW) • BizHawk
BIZHAWK SETUP AND RULES BizHawk is able to display the status bar below the game window that must be displayed. You have also to show that all Hotkeys are cleared: Config->Hotkeys->Misc->Clear All Games can only run under the cue format. • PSX > Options • Select either mednafen mode option. • Deinterlace the image is allowed. Select Bob in the same window. • Config > Speed/Skip > Audio Throttle [Important for 2.5 Users] To verify that you are running with Audio Throttle enabled you must hit the increase/decrease speed keys [plus/minus] it will display a message on screen.
RETROARCH RULES You must show settings of the core settings before/after the run. Your settings must match this: • CPU Dynarec: Disabled (Beetle Interpreter) [Default] • Cycles: 128 (Default) • GTE Overclock: Disabled • GPU Overclock: 1x (native) • Skip Bios: Disabled. • Access Method: Synchronous • Loading Speed: 2x (native) • PAL (European) Video Timing Override: OFF Recommended: Keep PGXP Disabled Custom settings are allowed for anything that isn't mentioned such as resolution.
For the quick answer on "why did we drop ePSXe?" That emulator for PC has not been updated in 4 years and despite being the "most accurate emulator"^ it relies on plugins compared to the other four options.
^Due to being closed source, it was able to get away with faking the scores on the PS1 Test Suite. Games that are tested to what ePSXe states it "passed" has outright failed.

Hi to all, I have an idea about a new possible category: Max%, where you have to collect all letters, all objects (fruits, lifes) and all pacdots, open all doors, do all mazes then complete successfully all bonus levels and to reach 100% completition (in USA and PAL version also Marathon of mazes), excepted in boss levels. What do you think about it? I've done also a sample run.
@Jumpyluff I've written in wrong way, sorry. I meant if also in the run "All trophies 2 players" is mandatory to do the tie breaker, because in the run "201% 2 players" is mandatory.

We've done a sample run with tie break of this. It would be cool if there was a leaderboard.
In Tournament 100% and Any% will be cool adding difficulty and with/without upgrades variables. In next days I will do run on Hard difficulty, classic traffic, without upgrades.
Personally, i don't like the "remastered" version of TD6.

In my opinion you can admit also beetle psx, core of retroarch. Beetle PSX is a port of Mednafen:

To allow Retroarch, rules to follow must be this, in my opinion:
For example in pc games who has powerful pc has lower loading times, with your rules there would be no speedrun for pc games, because all pc are different.
For me it would be easy and fair to make a separate category (or a category extension) for emulators
I vote to do all challenges in order starting from the bottom to the top

Rules now says:
"Time starts when you choose the 1st challenge of the character's tower."
So is mandatory to start from 1st challenge.
When i started to do runs, admins rejected one of my first speedrun because i didn't do the challenges in order. Now we can do in any order without anyone having specified it?
For me, new runs must be rejected, otherwise we would all be forced to redo the speedrun according to the new rules...
