[section=Names for Bonus Stats or Items] The English names only works on the USA version (not European), while the Japanese names are obviously only for the Japanese version. Also note that the names are case sensitive, so write them exactly as shown.
Bonus Stats
- Ninky (ニンキー) = +5 Str
- Yoshi (ヨッシー) = +5 Dex
- Taicho = +5 Int - Note: I can't seem to get any Japanese name similar to this one to work. It might not even exist.
- Dengeki (でんげき) = +5 Int / +30 Thunder Res
- Montaka (モンタカ) = +30 Shadow Res
- Iyoku (イヨク) = +30 Fire Res
- Mizupin (みずビン) = +30 Ice Res
- Saophen (サオヘン) = +30 Light Res
- Hachi (ハチ) = +30 Poison Res
Items
- Genomes (ゲノムズ) = Genome Ring (+5 Atk / +4 Critical Hit / +20 Thunder Res)
- Nindri (ニンドリ) = Dream Hat (+20 Walking Speed / +1 SP Recover Speed)
- Vjum (ブイジァン) = Atlus Ring (+3 Str / +3 Dex / +3 Vit)
- VJxSS (Same as English) = Power Gloves (+4 Str / +2 Attack Speed)
[section=Item Duping]
- Charge up item throw
- Release B to throw the item
- Press R 1 frame after throwing to switch slot (Make sure to have R slots open so you actually switch the slots and not merely bringing it up)
You basically trick the game into throwing an item and consuming it from another slot, thus duplicating it.
Note:
- You don't have to have a fully charged throw, as long as you throw it it works just fine.
[section=Demon's Tower - Clone Boss (Herb Glitch - Fast Kill)] All you do is throw a Herb at the Clone, that's it. This will somehow reduce the HP of the Clone to a super low value, thus making it possible to kill it in only a few hits. I first show how long the fight is without the use of the Herb Glitch, and then with it just to show the huge difference!

[section=Blue Aura Charge Attack + Attack Timing] After doing a Charge Attack, press the A button again. The timing is tricky, but you can do a lot of damage. If you do it correctly, a blue aura will appear.
I'm not sure exactly what kind of properties this blue aura attack has. If it has more pushback, damage or whatever. It's something to take note of though.
[section=Charging While Moving + Cancelling Charged Attacks] Normally you would press A and hold to charge your attacks, the issues with this is you will obviously perform a normal attack before actually charging. This isn't a problem when fighting enemies, since doing normal attacks into charging is just fine. However when on the move you might want to prepare and charge up for the upcoming fights, with this trick you can do that without having to stop and attack and then charge.
How To Charge:
- Switch to an empty slot
- Hold A
- Switch to desired weapon and you will begin charging
The same applies when you have a full charge but want to get rid of it because you are going to advanced to the next floor. Normally you would just release and then enter, but that will waste some time, so you can get around this with the same concept I talked about before.
How To Cancel:
- Switch to empty slot
- Release A
- Switch to desired weapon and you will now have gotten rid of the charged up attack
[section=Armor Set Bonus] If your items are bouncing, then you're wearing a complete armor set. Press SELECT over your character to view the set's bonus.
[section=Cancel After Entering Next Level] I just found that you can actually spam B right after entering in order to cancel before the transition and come back out again.
