Looking For New Capture Card For PS1/PS2 Under 150€

Ayo fellow people. I decided to get rid of my Elgato soon since it's just too buggy. Sometimes I need 30 minutes to get it running. Before the Elgato I tried the Avermedia LGP, but for whatever reason it didn't record my PS2 games smoothly.

Need some recommendations for a good capture card that can record PS1 games on PS2 (can't do that on Elgato) and preferably HD support as well. Below 150€ please.

Thanks in advance.

Personnaly, i use Avermedia ExtremeCap U3, it's mostly meant for HD stuff (HDMI + Component), so if you use the PS3 component cables (they work on PS2 too), it works fine. Also, the capture card itself requires USB 3.0 ports to work (you probably have one though, unless you're on a reaaaaaaally old pc).

As for the price, iirc i got mine for 110 - 120€.

Why can't you do that with the Elgato? Is there something special about running PS1 games on PS2? I've used mine to capture/stream actual PS2 games just fine.

When starting a PS1 game on my PS2, the Elgato only records the bootscreen. After that it's all black when launching the PS1 game. Seems to be a resolution issue. You can fix that with some upscalers or converters as far as I know, but I'm not willing to pay for these, since they're quite pricy

I use an Avermedia Live Gamer HD which is all HDMI capture and have it taking in HDMI from an AV to HDMI converter from the PS1,2 or what ever older AV cable system you can have. This is not the best way but works cheaply and effectively enough for me currently.
