*Timer notes: end splits frame counted to a very low 9m10s, (around 9:10.15) but I think I started my timer 0.5 seconds early-before character control? Thanks to the mods for taking the time to check out the runs.

These are some early attempts, so per the usual-lots of time to save. Lost biggest amount of time on the final boss fight. We know we can do it quicker by doing a certain strat-where you kinda just tank damage, but we just wanted to get a run in.

This is a very fun game-the tunes are so good! And nope, moon level is not our favorite-not even our second favorite (lol) Our favorite tune is the snow level-sweet music! We also need to understand how boss hitboxes work. We first played this on the Big 20 of last year, and wanted to revisit it-we could brush up on the moon skip as well. With the strats we're doing now (one extra health) we know we can get a sub 8m45s, on a future play through.
