The first round is meaningless, just stand. Winning or losing doesn't matter. Only winning the second and third rounds are important.

Shocks:

Use a Restart to skip trump card explanation, probably faster by a few seconds. Optimal luck is winning four rounds in a row. Using a single bet up is meaningless. Using two will cut one round off, but it's probably not worth it. Save Bet Ups for the next game to do the skip.

Sawblade:

Using enough Bet Ups will skip the mini-cutscene where Lucas cheats and forced "Love Thy Enemy" play if you get a guaranteed win or can force him to bust early, so save Bet Ups for this, can potentially win in one round if you luck out.
