At least one more mod would be nice to have. Since it's a new game i think it would be most important to be able to verify runs quickly since that leads to more exposure on the front page and to potential new runners. If nobody else wants to be one i would happily be one.

Lucky's tale is free and quite fun to speedrun, though it's not a roomscale game so if you are looking for those then maybe something like SuperhotVR or Arizona sunshine? In arizona sunshine you could just walk through the walls to the level triggers so it probably is mostly just teleporting and walking through walls, which is kinda boring.

Probably coolest game to speedrun would be Windlands, however speedrunning it kinda ruins the feeling of it for me.

Here's a few small clips from windlands and superhot.

Individual games already have their own forums which are often pretty sparse, so i don't see how this would make it a lot worse. The way i was thinking about it would be that when you'd be looking for new games to run or just perusing through runs you could see the discussion people have had about a wr run in one place even if the game would have no more runners. And as useful as discord is, it's still an extra step to finding out the info you need. Though i agree that it would probably be pretty useless on more popular games.

It would be nice if we could comment on individual runs, it would make it easier to ask questions and have discussions about the run, tips and tricks stuff like that. I know that youtube is one step away, but i would honestly rather talk here about the runs than there.

We have an time for IGT too if you look at the character run leaderboards, it's just that RT will show up first. IGT is usually around 10~ minutes faster than the RT.

The mod has been offline for the past 5 days so you might have to wait if you want his answer. Personally even though the in-game time lags far behind the IG time since it stops every time you lose control of your character, i kinda value it more than the RT.

Isn't that what we have been doing up to this point? I mean the time is going to be the same whether you go by ingame clock or the end screen.

I hope that someday Airblade would gain a bit more popularity, so to help anybody trying to run the game for the first time i wanted to share some tips to get you started.

First one is a big one.

Don't use analog controls, seriously you will be much more precise and consistent if you use the D-pad to move around, it also helps with the next tip.

In some levels like the first one it's advisable to do "trick turns" where you hit down at the same time you do a trick, this will turn you around keeping most of your momentum intact, and in some cases you can boost out of it even faster than normally.

Skipping vertical spinning animations.

This glitch is easy to do, however doing it consistently is harder than it seems. Just before you grab a horizontal pole start smashing L1 and R1, or one or the other. The game gets confused when you grab at the same time your character has started to turn and just flings you out of the spin with full force saving a lot of time especially if you chain these together. There are dangers in doing this, in rare cases you jump into completely opposite direction you wanted, or you might be in a bad position where you fall because your board clips a wall when you try to grab the pole, sometimes it's just safer to grab the pole normally rather than trying to skip the animation.

Spinning while grinding.

Hitting L1 and R1 will make you speed up while grinding, but this too has it's drawbacks. For one you cannot jump in all of the positions while spinning, this might make you fall to your death forcing a reset in the later levels.

The second problem is that this can screw up your landing position because grinds can be a good way to setup your character for a hard jump like in the penthouse level.

One notable little skip in the Industry level is that you can jump to the first radio antenna straight out of the mine shaft, this saves only a second or two but at first it doesn't really seem to be possible to make the jump, with a full jump boost it's not that hard.

If anybody else has any tips feel free to share them here or ask any questions, i'm sure somebody will answer.
