I actually did it.

I got a main board Any% world record. Here it is. That's unreal. That's so amazing. I can say I was a Peggle Nights world record holder. I'm so proud of myself. I worked very hard for this. This is a huge achievement so of course you get a Britsha SRC Essay™.

Took about 10 days of grinding everyday. Started with me pushing my 1:02:56 to 1:01:44, then pushed for sub-hour which I eventually got with a 59:15. By that point, I could tell how possible world record was for me. I wanted to go all the way. Soon I got down to 58:20, then a 58:04, but after that ended up a bit trapped for a few days making no progress. It eventually led to a 57:46, 31 seconds away from world record. There's no way I could stop when I was that close and had already put so much into this grind.

I was feeling quite crushed by all the great paces on dead runs I was getting and getting a bit exhausted from grinding in most my free time to still not be at the goal yet. Was worried this would end up a month long endeavour (or longer). A finished, non-PB run I achieved 22 hours before this run is what brought back all strength and motivation. It was a 59:52 but it had 2 losses, a slow start, and just felt more balanced while showcasing my capabilities. And that's what led to me coming home from work the next day, determined, and getting this world record.

I did so much for this. The insane hours of grinding, learning strats I might avoid, making my own strats, reviewing my runs, calculating realistic time saves, practising areas I'm weaker at. I really put my everything into this. I've proven myself.
