I thought about running 100% on NTSC-j, but then I realised that you need to learn Japenese for furnace fun, which is probably hard.
Ok, I expected that would be the only way. I´ll do it and thanks for the nand backup, I didn´t knew that.
I alredy had the homebrew-channel on my wii a few month ago, but I´ve put it on my SD Card to get empty space on my wii storage. The problem is I can´t put the homebrew back on my Wii storage. Is anyone out there who knows about this? Thank you
Here´s what u need to do:
- make sure you have enough empty space on your intern wii storage, e.g. erase the Internet channel 2.Download any Zelda no Densetsu toki no Okarina v1.2 wad and put it on your SD card 3.Download d2x-cios, wad installer and priiloader and put it on your SD card, too.(if you have one or two already installed you don´t need them again)
- install priiloader with homebrew 5.open d2x-cios in homebrew and write it from 58 to 249 or leave it on 249 if it already is. 6.open wad manager in homebrew, select 249 as cios, disable NAND, select SD card, find wad in the list and press A to install. power of your Wii. You might have to pull the cable out of the socket for that.
- Power on your Wii and immediatly hold reset untill the priiloaderscreen apears. In priiloader you can thenRegion free all channels to launch the game from the Home menu. Select launch title and select Zelda Ocarina of Ti(NARJ). If something goes wrong launch the wad manager from priiloader and uninstall the wad. I can´t give a guarantee that it works. You should find download links in all the discussions about this theme good luck
I´m able to play japanese OOT and MM on my european Wii. The sound is bad, but everything else works. I wrote down how to do it somewhere, but I need to search it. I´ll tell you how to do it after I found it. I remember that you need priiloader, which you can install with homebrew.
The frame buffering is inconsistent on emulatores. reduced speed is consistent
Hello I think there arent much differences between them. Most people use Project 64. On bizzhawk you can reduce the speed of the game instead of frame buffering, which is pretty inconsistent. Hope that helps
Hi Acoustic, I´m not that good in Lbly either but I get it around 30%. It is a very hard trick, which took me around 5 hours to learn it. All you can do is get as much in the corner at the stairs as possible, push against the wall, roll your control-stick to down-right and press z and then A. Imediatly turn the controll stick left. If you groundpound or just jump you´re either to slow(started jumping to early) or pressed a to fast after z. I´d highly recommend you to try 16 star because the basement bly is basicly impossible.
