The Setup for the FPG in 1-1 is probably sub-optimal. I think that it is faster not to do that setup.
you can not save a framerule over current wr just by doing a faster or no setup. you would have to somehow save 20 frames. you can save 3 from dfa at the start, that's it. the only timesave is ffpg. while it is slower, it is exactly 0.4 frames slower, not even half a frame.
You could go into a TAS editor and see for yourself? I don't understand why you would say a trick is sub-optimal without even knowing anything about it.
