BEFORE RESTRUCTURING: This page contained the leaderboards for three different Bee Movie Games.
- Beenox developed the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Windows versions of the game.
- Smart Bomb Interactive developed the Wii version.
- Vicarious Visions developed the Nintendo DS version.
Each is a different speedrun, with a different route and different runners. Therefore, I thought it best to split this leaderboard into three pages to make everything look cleaner.
AFTER RESTRUCTURING:
- This page will be home to Bee Movie Game (Xbox 360, PS2, Windows).
- A new page has been created for Bee Movie Game (Wii): https://www.speedrun.com/bmg_wii
- A new page has been created for Bee Movie Game (DS): https://www.speedrun.com/bmg_ds
I'm in the process of moving your runs over now. Shouldn't take more than 24 hours. Let me know if you have any questions.

You can choose to support the game monetarily if you would like. Otherwise, it's pay-what-you-want, so you can try/play it for free!
You see, I WOULD add milliseconds, but I think the fact that there's a three-way tie for world record is hilarious... So yeah.
It's a couple things. The first barrier is the software used to TAS Mirror's Edge; it isn't publicly available by the mod-maker (to my knowledge). Second, there's some controversy surrounding that particular Prologue TAS, as Faith seems to move in impossible ways. To be more specific, some runners speculate that the method of TASing used to produce that video resulted in a recording that couldn't actually be done by a normal instance of the game engine. To my knowledge, the speculation is just that—speculation—since nobody has the software to try to replicate the TAS. Lastly, TASing is time consuming, which is another factor.
I would love to see a proper TAS of Mirror's Edge someday, but I don't think we'll get there anytime soon.
nah dude don't blame Chops, i just hecka suck because of hecka nerves
Alright, I'll work trying to find some of those "skills" and, in the meantime, I'll just do the thing I.N. does for Oltanis.
I've been fooling around with RAC tech for the past couple weeks, and I've noticed I'm not getting as much height as other top runners from all my IJs (clankless, heli-pack, and ground pound cancels). I find that I fall further during my wrench swing then other runners.
I'm not sure if this is linked to me mis-inputting / inputting badly, or if it's because I'm playing on NTSC PS2.
I can upload video if that will help. The main reason I bring this up is because I can't seem to do the NG+ skip on Oltanis. Thanks!
It's a pretty hard trick, it took me an hourish to figure out, then another hour of practice to get semi-consistent. It's a moderate time save, but I personally wouldn't waste time throwing away runs to it unless you get it really consistent / you're going for (at least) a sub 45 time.
Happens to me a lot in "glitchless" categories. Best way to avoid it is by running on the mat for a second longer. Like Heki said, not useful.
Love the PS2 games. RAC has amazing movement, Sly Cooper has some good skips, the Jaks are interesting runs, Spyros are really fluid and fun... a really underrated era of speedrunnable games imo.
Some of you may have noticed that game-time was removed from the leaderboards. It just sometimes, uh, wouldn't work. Example: the run I just got had a game-time of 00:01. Unless we get a no-loads timer (lol) or someone feels the need to time out loads, RTA will be this leaderboard's preferred timing method.
Thanks for reading.
I found new movement tech, it's like 10% faster.
MikeHall, read from here down, might help! http://www.speedrun.com/Dishonored/thread/kyenp/1#einxp
tl;dr you need high framerates to do elevators. Obviously, framerate is based on computer performance. Follow Chops' setup tutorial, play on lowest video settings, turn vsync off... those will help raise your framerate and get higher elevators. You can check your framerate using Steam overlay. I don't know the minimum FPS for that elevator.
To clarify: I am comfortable / would enjoy running the game, but I want it well-represented above all.
I submitted Dishonored for Charity Marathon 2 (https://horaro.org/cm2016/schedule) for a Saturday timeslot. I'm aware I don't represent the community well with my mid-pack time. Are there any other runners with more consistent times who would want to take my place?
I didn't want you to think I had abandoned this leaderboard.
If you send me a video of you timing an IL run, I will create the leaderboards for each individual level. So, please, go do that.
Sorry, just seeing this now! I'll make a separate category now, thank you!
The first (and maybe only, who knows!) runs of the Bee Movie Game were during a blind race. As a result, the timing for a lot of these runs was incorrect based on the new rules (that I made up after the race was over). So, I re-timed all of the runs from the blind race based on the new rules; if you notice any discrepancies between the time on the leaderboards and the time on those VODs, that's why.
are you using a modded version of the game? are you using the most updated version of livesplit?
