You're good, as long as the actions that would require a physical button press on a controller also require a physical button press on the fightstick (most importantly weaponswap).

Just on my perspective, having weapon swap as your analog stick seems fishy. Could you show a video of you doing the trick with the analog stick in the camera to see exactly how it functions?

I don't think yourfaceson means the analog stick, I think he means that weapon swapping is mapped to an analog trigger rather than a digital button.
