I'am wondering which emulator and version is used and if it is running at the right speed. The line clearance time appears to be somewhere around ~0.85s instead of ~1.6s.

Uh oh, I think you are right. Idk how I didn't notice this the first time I watched. I will ask Cheese what emu she is using.

I honestly don't know what GB emulators are good and what aren't, I am not an emulator guy at all. If someone knows, feel free to post here so we can sort this out. I can add stuff to the rules if needed.

VisualBoyAdvance is a terrible GB emulator for speedrunning. Use BGB or Gambatte.
